That looks just like the one I & prolly most of America made :) Mine was red velvet inside & cream cheese frosting requested by John who got what he wanted since he has the 4th of July birthday :)
Yes! And didn't you feel so American making it?!? lol
Next year I am making the cake with cupcakes. Blueberries for blue, strawberries for red and I'm think coconut for white. Red velvet is an excellent choice. I never thought of that! :)
